Yoga retreat - Otways and Lorne

Overview

Inhale the sweet, clean, organic air of the majestic rainforest as you delve into a weekend of Yoga, relaxation, healthy living and more in the company of like-minded Yogis. Everything on the program is optional so you can unwind in whichever way suits you best. The 2015 retreat is an exclusive package limited to only a small group, making the teachers and the program more accessible to each student.

Who: Eveline Young and Telford Scully, a senior Master Yoga practitioner from Victoria (23 years teaching experience) will be hosting the program. Hosts are available to chat outside class times and will attend other retreat activities. A Lorne local with expertise on wildlife and the history of the area will guide us on a stunning nature walk (or two) to secret locations that most tourists don’t know about.

Telford Yoga: Telford's workshops will draw on each of the 'types' of yoga while connecting and integrating Patanjai's eight limbs. In particular we will make a meaningful connection between Ramana Maharshi's "who am I?" meditation (dhyana) and the hatha yoga  poses (asana). The teachings offered are heavily influenced by the monistic schools of yogic philosophy especially Kashmir Shaivism and Avaita Vedanta - "oneness" 
Where: Nestled in the trees amongst the wildlife at King Parrot Cottages, a retreat center just 1 1/2 hour drive from Melbourne and 25 minutes’ drive from Lorne. There will be ample opportunity to spend time on the beach.
What: Yoga, Meditation, Master class workshop to enhance the benefits you receive from Yoga and Meditation, extraordinary teachings for regular people living modern lifestyles, awesome company, stunning nature walk to a secret location guided by a local expert, meditation outdoors, organic bio-dynamic vegetarian catering, take home care package including Yoga manual and DVD plus more.
Cost: $600 which includes meals, accommodation and the whole program.

Transport

Transport to and from the retreat isn't included however, if you cannot drive yourself please let us know. It will be easy to arrange a ride for you with someone else or figure out a public transport option. Please get in touch to discuss your options.

Saturday

7.30am                 Fresh juice, light snack

8.00am               Yogic foundations workshop – overview and discussion of
                            Yogic philosophy  and postural alignment (Eveline) 

                 Strong morning Flow Yoga (Eveline)

10.30am               Breakfast

12.00pm              Hidden Lorne beach walk guided by Anne
                              Cave meditation (Telford)

2.00pm                Picnic lunch in Lorne

Sunday

7.00am               Optional Morning Flow (Eveline)

10.30am               Hot breakfast then check-out

11.30am               Group photos and debrief          

12.00pm              If it's hot, swimming at the rock pools otherwise a visit to Erskine Falls                                     with Eveline  (optional)

2.00pm                Good-bye, free time before drive home

NB Lunch on Sunday is not included in the package however Eveline will be having lunch in Lorne and anyone who would like to join at their own expense is most welcome.
